How to Remove MDM for Free from My iPhone?

There are three ways to remove MDM for free from your iPhone. However, two of them might work only in cases when your iPhone was enrolled into the MDM program manually using Apple Configuration. If you think this is your case, here are two ways to remove MDM from your iPhone for free.

Free manual removing MDM from iPhone:

1. Open Settings.

2. Go to General > Device Management.

3. Select MDM profile to remove.

4. Select “Remove management”.

Via Simple MDM Solution Example:

1. Click the name of your device.

2. Click on “Actions”.

3. Select “Remove” which will send a command to the device with instructions how to delete the MDM profile.

These methods might work since Apple allows users to delete MDM profiles from their iPhone’s by default. But if any other MDM Software was used to enroll your iPhone into the MDM program, most likely, you can’t remove the MDM profile from your device using aforementioned approaches.

So, if the MDM profile was deployed on your iPhone using third-party software, the only way to remove MDM from your iPhone for free is to turn to the IT department of the company configuring your device. If the device belonged to an employee who left the company but his or her device wasn’t unenrolled for some reason while leaving, the company will easily remove MDM from the iPhone.

This method is reliable but it can’t be used in most cases, especially if you bought a used iPhone in the aftermarket and can’t turn to the company which deployed MDM profile on your device. In this case, iActivate Software is what you need.
