The recent Apple’s release of iOS 14.3 and iPadOS 13.4 introduced a number of notable new features. Here you’ll find the biggest changes included in this the latest iOS update:

• Apple Fitness + is a paid service priced at $9.99 per month providing video workouts by trainers hired by Apple. It is available in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and United States. This service involves Apple Watch to track your progress during workouts. You can watch video workouts on AppleTV, iPad, or iPhone.
• AirPods Max support was added for this the latest Apple’s product which is over-ear headphones. As Apple says this update provides high-fidelity audio, Adaptive EQ, Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode, and Spatial audio for theater-like experience.
• ProRaw support which gives a new Pro-Raw format for iPhones 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max. This feature was designed for those preferring shooting in RAW but also willing to use Apple’s image pipeline data, such as noise reduction and multi-frame exposure adjustments.
• Other camera features are an option to record video at 25 frames per second and the option to mirror the front camera for iPhones 6s and 6s Plus, iPhone SE, iPhones 7 and 7 Plus, iPhones 8 and 8 Plus, and iPhone X. This feature was available for newer devices earlier.
• New Siri sounds feature enables Siri to replicate all kinds of sounds from animals to alarms. You just ask Siri to play any sound by saying “Siri, what does a lion sound like” for example. Siri will play the sound, display a picture of the animal or device and link it to the information from Wikipedia.
• Home Screen Shortcuts allow faster and easier apps launching with custom icons from the Home Screen. Use Shortcuts to make a custom icon for a faster app launching.
• Ecosia search engine allows users to fund tree planting while searching conduction. Ecosia can also be set as a default browser instead of Google, Yahoo, Bing and DuckDuckGo.
• A new Apple TV+ tab makes Apple TV+ content discovery easier and less confusing for those experiencing problems with figuring out which content is available with their subscription and which not. The search feature was also enhanced for browsing by categories. Now you also get recent searches and suggestions while typing in the search field.
• Cardio Fitness is a new feature for Apple Watch which can be reviewed in the Activity app on your iPhone. Cardio Fitness feature measures VO2 Max which is the maximum amount of oxygen your body can consume during exercises. Apple Watch was able to measure VO2 Max before, but this new feature also has support for lower ranges which previously needed clinical tests.
• App Clips support allows launching App Clips via scanning Apple-designed App Clip Codes with a camera, or via the shortcut in the Control Center.
• Health App was featured with a new section related to pregnancy. It works with pregnancy tracking devices and provides information on pregnancy. Now Health app has options to indicate pregnancy, lactation, or contraceptive use in Cycle Tracking which allows managing period and fertile windows prediction more efficiently.
• Weather App now provides air quality health recommendations at specific quality levels in the USA, UK, Germany, India, Mexico, and China. Air quality data is provided by Breezometer.

Besides new iOS 14.3 features, it also addressed bugs fixing related to some MMS receipt failures. It also fixed the issue which prevents members displaying in contact groups while texting.

Another issue fixed is related to correct video appearance when it was shared from the Photo app. App folders opening issues were fixed too.

A bug related to MagSafe Duo Charger was fixed as there was an issue related to wireless iPhones charging.

• Ability to indicate pregnancy, lactation, or contraceptive use in Cycle Tracking in the Health app in order to better manage period and fertile window predictions

Weather

• Air quality data is now available in Weather, Maps, and Siri for locations in China mainland
• Air quality health recommendations are provided in Weather and Siri for the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, India, and Mexico at certain air quality levels

Safari

• Ecosia search engine option in Safari

This release also addresses the following issues:

• Some MMS messages may not be received
• Some Messages notifications may not be received
• Contact groups failed to display members when composing a message
• Some videos would not appear correctly when shared from the Photos app
• App folders may fail to open
• Spotlight search results, and opening apps from Spotlight may not work
• Bluetooth could be unavailable in Settings
• Devices could be prevented from charging wirelessly
• MagSafe Duo Charger could wirelessly charge your iPhone at less than the maximum power
• Wireless accessories and peripherals using the WAC protocol could fail to complete setup
• The keyboard would dismiss when adding a list in Reminders while using VoiceOver
